My Uncle Gerard died on 10 December 2002. He was particularly close to me and my sister and my mum and dad. I remember he used to come to my mums every sunday for his dinner, which I think he used to look forward to every week. He had tons of nicknames including Ged, Rambo and Ferret, which used to make us laugh. He was known well around Middleton and was a funny character to all.
We all miss you Uncle Gerard but we know you are up there with Nan and Grandad Jim XXXXXXX

A tear of love, scaredness and dread

You were the one who made my life worthwhile
But I remember going to the funeral home
And sitting lonely and sad
It replayed in my head, your just corpse full of bone
How could this happen?
Why was it You?

But I hope You, my Uncle, my Friend
